Gypsy Circle creates a fun, comfortable environment to learn the exciting and self-fulfilling arts of belly dancing, drumming, fire dancing, fire breathing, theatre and ballet in a relaxed atmosphere.
We offer classes for women, men and children of all ages in American Folk Gypsy Belly Dance, a very self expressive style created by Assifa of Gypsy Circle. We also have Gypsy Fitness, a fun exercise class based on belly dance, Gypsy Rhythms, focusing on teaching rhythm instruments and how to play for belly dancers, our Fire Troupe class, Pyromancy, which teaches the exciting art of fire dancing and fire breathing, Theatre class which will help individuals to raise their self esteem, become more comfortable speaking in front of others and learn the wonderful art of acting and our Ballet class which helps adults and children experience the grace and beauty of ballet.
Adult classes are for women and men ages 13 and up and children's classes are for girls and boys up to 12 years of age..
Beginning American Folk Gypsy Belly Dance, level one:

Students will build on basic moves of American Folk Gypsy belly dance, expand on veil technique as well as add basket dancing to their belly dance abilities.
Intermediate American Folk Gypsy Belly Dance:

This class expands and strengthens each dancer's ability and knowledge while preparing the individual for performance. Choreographed dances will be taught. Students should have a veil, as well as a basket, tray or sword for balancing.
Advanced American Folk Gypsy Belly Dance:

Wednesdays 6:30pm~7:30pm
$25 per month ~ continual
Students will learn to perfect the moves they already perform while learning new, advanced moves, how to interact with an audience, dancing to recorded as well as live music, stage prescence and much more. Each student will need a veil, zills and a basket, tray or sword for balancing for this class.
Enrollment in this class requires prior approval by the instructor.
Gypsy Circle Belly Dance Troupe:
Wednesdays 7:40pm~8:40pm
Performance Troupe class is continual. It is to be taken in conjunction with the advanced class and is an extra cost of $5 per month.
Students will learn a wide variety of choreographed dances to both recorded and live music while participating in creating new dances. Students will also learn to become more comfortable dancing solo and in duets.
Gypsy Circle Belly Dance Troupe performs at a variety of fun, public venues and private parties.
Troupe members must have a complete, Gypsy style costume approved by Assifa, a veil, a set of zills and a basket, tray or sword for balancing.

Little Gypsy Children's Belly Dance Class:
Tuesdays 1:30pm~2:15pm

Students will learn and drill basic moves of belly dance as well as expand on those abilities over time. Students will have opportunities, but will not be required, to perform. Drumming/rhythm instruments are also covered. An adult family member or guardian must remain in class with the student.
Gypsy Rhythms:
Fridays 7:45pm~8:45pm
$20 per month continual/$10 drop in per class
This relaxed and fun class covers drumming, hand positions and basic rhythms. Each participant should bring a drum or other rhythm instrument. Gypsy Rhythms drumming group performs with Gypsy Circle Belly Dance Troupe, Little Gypsy Circle Performance Troupe and Pyromancy Fire Troupe at a variety of events both public and private.
Gypsy Fitness:
Fridays 6:30pm~7:30pm
$20 per month continual/$10 drop in per class
Gypsy Fitness uses the exciting moves of belly dance for exercise. The focus is on moves that tighten and strengthen specific muscles, while burning calories in a fun, faster paced environment. It should be noted that belly dance experience is not necessary, but this is not a technique or performance class. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace as their needs and abilities dictate.
Zumba
Thursdays 6:30pm to 7:30pm
$30 per 4-week session

The routine features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba class!
Pyromancy Fire Performance Troupe:
Tuesdays 6:30pm~7:30pm
Fire safety, fire dancing techniques and fire breathing techniques for performance will be covered in this continual class. Pyromancy performs at a variety of fun, public venues and private performances. Contact Gypsy Circle for more information on this class.
Acting for Non-Actors, beginning for adults:
$40 per 6-week session

This class will help individuals to raise their self-esteem, become more comfortable speaking in front of others and learn the wonderful art of acting in a relaxed atmosphere.

Private Lessons:
Private lessons are available on an appointment basis. The cost for private lessons is $20 per hour.
